LEVELLING MACHINES - LEVELLERS
They are machines designed with the aim of moving and levelling the ground by means of a blade that comes in various dimensions.
The levelling machines which are available on the market can be either drawn or self-propelled (grader).

After some years of study and practical experience on the field the overriding conclusion is that the most economic, accurate and fast system for the levelling of all kinds of materials (earth, sand, gravel ecc) is the use of laser-controlled scrapers and levelling machines, drawn by tractors or other types of operating machines.

The laser-controlled drawn levellers require minimal maintenance, they are more accurate in terms of finishing operations as compared to self-propelled traditional machines, they are also easier to use because they are drawn and complete with laser or gps control.

Their operation is simple:
•     The desired plan having one or two slopes is set on a transmitter.
•     Thanks to an automatic control system, after receiving the data the leveller copies onto the ground the plan previously set on the transmitter.
•     All the operator has to do is driving the tractor on the field, so as to undertake the operations.

We also have professional software available which is essential to calcolate the estimate of the work to be carried out, from grid surveys to surveys with GPS satellite system (used to undertake three-dimensional plans preparation).

FONTANA SCRAPERS - TOWED SCRAPERS
The scraper is used both in the agricultural sector and for "industrial" works and it is used for earth moving or moving of other materials on medium and long distances within allotments and farms.

The scraper is an earth moving machine ideal for excavations, transportation and the following unloading and/or spreading of loose material.

The scraper is generally towed by a tractor or it’s a self-propelled machine, it is basically made of an adjustable caisson, with an open and sharp front edge which allows the cutting of the ground, its loading, its transportation on distances also over 1 kilometer and its downloading.

These displacements may be necessary for land reclamations, landed settlements, levellings. Scrapers are compulsory together with the laser leveller.

Unlike the laser leveller, a scraper can be loaded and used to cover even "long" distances without rolling of the ground (like a trailer) and it can be unloaded afterwards where the allotment has a subsidence.

The Fontana scraper is generally controlled by the laser system, it is equipped with a receiver (set on a graduated mast) which gets the signal from the fixed station (transmitter) set on a tripod usually placed within a range of 300/400 metres.
With this technique you can beat a "level", thus allowing the machine to collect only where it is really needed; afterwards, you can create slopes and everything else.

HARROWS
The disk arrow is an agricultural machine carried or towed by the tractor and used for complementary works in the agricultural sector, especially for the harrowing.

We define a carried disk if the hydraulic hoist of the tractor can lift it during transportation.
We define a towed disk with trolley if the harrow is heavier and it is trailed by the tractor by means of the tow hook.

It is used, after the ploughing, to break the clods and till the ground in view of the sowing period.
In other cases the harrow is also useful to bury the manure scattered on the ground.
Finally, it is used to break the grass surface and bury the leftovers of cultivation.

The harrow has a significant employment for the superficial working of the ground in the organic farming.

We often place some weights on the chassis of the harrow (big stones or suitable weights made of steel) in order to increase the capability of mincing the clods and to have more pressure on the land that needs levelling.

We can offer many different versions and combinations of harrows with the related accessories, according to the type of soil and the specific work to be carried out.    

VARIOUS CULTIVATORS
The cultivators are equipment consisting of a stiff and folding chassis, in order to reduce the overall road dimensions, and they can be of carried, half-carried or towed type.

They are equipped with a series of working stiff or folding teeth, more or less strong and as long as the working depth.

They are equipped with rear rollers or disks, in order to further refine the soil and keep the working depth constant.
